TICONDEROGA

To contradict the claim that no posts will happen during exam days...(I have one tomorrow).

Remember the times of old, when we all used regular pencils...

Pencils without refillable "lead", which is really graphite, and not at all lead, since lead would give you lead poisoning, meaning "nausea, abdominal pain, irritability, impotence, insomnia...lethargy or hyperactivity, chest pain, headache...seizures, comas, and death."

Pencils that we had to sharpen, because they had wood surrounding the lead.

Pencils that we could break easily by karate chopping a pencil half.

Pencils with those tiny, pink erasers that didn't really work-they merely scratched the paper surface.

Pencils we could chew on legitimately.

Pencils that ranged from 9H to 9B.

Pencils with colored lead that we used to scribble over everything in primary school.

As the classic pencil begins to fade from 21st century society, being replaced by their more mechanical counterparts, we need to recognize their worth. Although they will never truly vanish, we rarely use them; so pay tribute to the past, and use a regular pencil for a day.

And of course, you'd likely be using the world's most widely sold pencil, namely the Dixon Ticonderoga No.2 Pencil.
