A while ago we had a post discussing some facts about fiji water. A look on this site gives some more info about the true enviromental cost of Fiji water. Being one of the top most popular bottled water, its got some serious enviromental issues dealing with how efficient it is with getting the water to us. I won't give you the whole rant, but here are two things to consider. A bottle that holds 1 liter requires 5 liters of water in its manufacturing process. 83.3g of fossil fuels per bottle delivered from Fiji to US. That's quite a lot of wasted water and fossil fuels for a bottle of water - not even pop or sparkling juice. However, realize that this source is dated 2 years old - and so things could have changed.
