Nano Chromatic Review

Posted by Happy - Dec 4, 2008

The nano chromatic, I must say, is quite a cool piece of technology.

After approximately a couple of months of using the 8GB orange nano, I have seen some faults as well as some cool features.

When i first got it, i saw the first signs of somewhat poor quality control. The clickwheel was not flush on the ipod, which pissed me off. It kept on clicking when i just tapped it lightly. That led me to dissasemble the ipod to try to fix it.

The ipod is really hard to take apart. Not Recommended.

The click wheel eventually fixed itself(Thank God).

Apart from that, there are too many good things about this lil' thang.
Theres a glass screen, which resists scratches like crazy
The accelerometer is sexy, and allows tilt and cover flow(which kinda gets annoying at times)
It somewaht fits well into the hand.
The new interface is somewaht similar to the new generations of ipod, which is cool

It pretty resonable, but i would look at other choices before deciding on this particular ipod, because you should think things out before going to buy them

P.S. the center button on the click wheel is not indented, which makes the ipod feel kinda weird..

have fun
